AIFF, APE, FLAC, MP2, MP3, OGG, VGM, WAV, WMA, and many other audio formats are supported by Qmmp. This free audio player can handle pretty much any audio file you give it. And speaking about playing music, you need to know that Qmmp features an equalizer, provides easy access to multiple equalizer presets, lets you create and manage playlists, lets you access track details, provides support for hotkeys, and more.

You must know that the Qmmp software was written with the help of the Qt library. You also need to know that Qmmp is available for Microsoft’s Windows operating system and for multiple Linux distros. As expected, a setup wizard will help you install Qmmp on your Windows PC. This setup wizard will inform you that Qmmp is free software released under a GNU General Public License, will offer to install extra skins, and will let you choose where to install Qmmp.

If you opt out of installing extra skins, only the default skin will be installed. But what if you don’t like the default skin? That’s why you should let the Qmmp setup wizard install extra skins. If you don’t like the default, you can switch to another skin; just go to Settings -> Appearance -> and pick a skin you like. The skin will be applied immediately; you won’t be asked to restart the application.

Qmmp’s interface is made up of three panels: a panel that features the playback controls, an equalizer panel, and a playlist panel. You can drag & drop these panels and arrange them anyway you see fit. It’s very similar to Winamp’s classic skin.

Qmmp, as mentioned above, is free software released under a GNU GPL. If you find it useful, do consider making a donation.

Qmmp provides support for tons of audio formats, meaning it can play any audio file you give. To play audio file, you have to use a simple interface that provides support for skins and reminds me of Winamp. You can enjoy Qmmp for as long as you want because this Qt-based audio player is free.

Pros

Qmmp is available for Windows and Linux. Multiple skins are available for the interface. Arrange the interface’s panels as you see fit. Hotkeys are supported, lots of audio formats are supported. Qmmp is free software.

Cons

None that I could think of.
